The Lunarline School of Cybersecurity (SCS) and CertNexus today announced a strategic partnership to bring advanced cyber workforce development and certification capabilities to clients in the Intelligence, Defense, Federal Civilian and private sector communities. This partnership combines Lunarline-SCS’s instructional design, online training, and global delivery system with select CertNexus certifications to deliver a comprehensive solution to cyber workforce challenges.
“Working together, Lunarline and CertNexus provide a future-proof solution for even the largest cyber programs,” says Lunarline CEO Waylon Krush. “Our approach comprehensively addresses every security training compliance requirement. This includes DoD 8570/8140 and the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Framework. More importantly, we provide the full complement of courseware that large organizations need to build a resilient workforce built for the reality of modern cyberwar.”
The partnership also includes a generous donation of training and certifications to the Warrior-to-Cyber-Warrior (W2CW) initiative. “We started W2CW to provide free security and training to veterans or if a veteran is no longer able to support their family, their spouse,” says Mr. Krush. “With this partnership, we can now expand the free training we provide to vets to include additional focused certifications through CertNexus, such as the CyberSec First Responder™.”
“We are thrilled to partner with such a prestigious company as Lunarline to help individuals prepare for CertNexus certifications. With the increased need for compliance in today’s IT industry and the rapid pace of technology growth, it has become critical to ensure standards in cybersecurity and IoT development. Together with Lunarline, we’re advancing our shared commitment to helping individuals across all sectors, including civilians, veterans, and current military members, develop the skills needed to successfully address the ever-changing cyber threat landscape.” said Christine Harper, CSO, CertNexus.

CertNexus develops certifications for IT professionals which meet the most robust, rigorous development standards possible. Many of CertNexus’ exams follow a development process that conforms to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17024:2012 standard, which outlines a global framework for developing personnel certification programs. If a certification is not ANSI accredited, it still follows the same rigorous process, but that one that is slightly more streamlined. In all cases, CertNexus partners with highly knowledgeable and talented industry experts during development to ensure the integrity and quality of each exam.
