Mansfield University Advances Textbook Affordability and Accessibility with Akademos

Akademos announced today a new partnership with Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, an inclusive public 4-year institution and member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. Serving north-central Pennsylvania and beyond, the University is partnering with Akademos to expand its online bookstore operations. The new bookstore platform will deliver increased affordability to Mansfield University students starting in the fall of 2020.

With the new online bookstore and course materials platform, faculty will have the tools they need to make affordable course material selections, giving students more affordable purchase options in the format they prefer, including new, used, rental, and digital. Free shipping is also available on all retail orders of new and used books over $49.
The comprehensive Akademos platform will additionally empower administrators with advanced and innovative tools for managing all aspects of course materials adoption. Real-time analytics and reporting features make it possible to track student purchasing and utilization and the built-in communications tools help foster overall student success.
