My360tours.com Teams With Enable Ability to Help Children With Autism Overcome Hurdles When Visiting New Places

Parents who have children with autism understand the issues that very often come along with visiting or moving to a new building. The child can experience extreme anxiety, which leads to acting out, or being generally unhappy. In eye-opening news, a popular software used by realty services has been reaching out to help. The virtual software My360tours.com is providing free access to Enable Ability, a charity that provides services to people with disabilities, so that they can create virtual tours to help autistic children see buildings in detail before they go to visit. This is the first time the software has been used in this way and the response has been extremely enthusiastic across the board.

Making these virtual tours has really helped our children and adults with disabilities to become more confident when visiting new places and discovering new things,” commented Steve Bond, Enable Ability. You can really see the difference it makes in a person with autism when they have viewed a virtual tour prior to visiting a new place – it is a different, more positive experience for them.”

According to My360, when it is used to create virtual tours for someone with autism they can view the places they want to visit online or use a VR headset to be able to fully explore a place in advance of their encountering it. This allows them to see where all the rooms are, be comfortable and secure about its exits, where to find the bathrooms and is augmented by My360’s video pop-ups that provide additional information in the tour when needed. This provides a way to help an autistic child or adult be more prepared for visiting a new space that is likely to be unmatched. It works with schools, businesses, places of interest, home real estate, and much more. This helps remove many or even most potential triggers, to the relief of both those with autism and their families.

Scarlett Smits, Co-Founder of My360 remarked, Its very exciting to be able to help Enable Ability fulfil part of their mission to help children with autism. We are thrilled to see our software not just be able to help businesses but also help charities, as well. Hopefully, this is something that will continue to grow in the future! We love to help those who need it in our communities and beyond.”

Thousands of businesses are happily using My360, from the real estate world, to photographers, all the way to automobile and yacht dealerships and a diverse variety in between. The virtual tour software is available by subscription in ten languages, with more likely to be added in the future.
