NEUROMIDE is the K-Beauty Ingredient That Mimics the Body’s Own Skin Barrier Recovery Process

Industry: Beauty

NEUROMIDE is the key ingredient in CURECODE, a K-Beauty line of intensive skin care products. Dr. Raymond Labs, the ingredient’s creator has published a co-authored article in the International Journal of Molecular Science to explain how NEUROMIDE stimulates ceramide production in the skin barrier.

Dr. Raymond Park, creator of NEUROMIDE and CEO of Dr. Raymond Labs, the company that distributes and markets CURECODE with Neuromide, recently co-authored an article in the International Journal of Molecular Science to explain how the company’s patented ingredient, Neuromide, stimulates ceramide production in the skin barrier.

NEUROMIDE, which means “new ceramide,” is the identical compount of N-Palmitoyl Serinol, a metabolite of the  microbiome that interacts with the human body that calms inflammation in the skin barrier.  Dr. Raymond Lab developed as cosmetic ingredient and the trade name is NEUROMIDE,

This unprecedented formula is the primary skin-calming ingredient in the company’s CURECODE line of intensive sensitive skin care products, aimed primarily at helping people with sensitive, extremely dry skin and skin prone to such challenges as Atopic Dermatitis.

“As my colleagues and I explain in the article, NEUROMIDE, is designed to stimulate ceramide production in the skin barrier the same way the body conducts that process when a person’s skin has been irritated,” explained Dr. Raymond Park. “However, in the cases where the skin barrier is compromised, as for dry and sensitive skin, this recovery is delayed. Neuromide was created to conduct that process in the skin, so that the skin barrier can get the care it needs in any circumstance.”

The article goes on to explain that NEUROMIDE has been tested in-vitro stressed condition through a model that simulates the recovery process the skin model.  NEUROMIDE increased ceramide production and especially very long chain ceramide C22, C24 which has beed reported reduction in atopaic dermatitis. The increased ceramide production in turn, enables the compromised skin barrier to draw in and hold higher levels of hydration, thus reducing inflammation and promoting the skin barrier’s recovery. “This development has been incredibly exciting in the field of skin science,” added Dr. Park.
