Simtech Aviation is excited to announce the arrival of the Garmin G1000 Flight Simulator, a high-quality Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD), serving all levels of pilot training in Manhattan.

New York, NY (PRUnderground) October 10th, 2019

Simtech Aviation serves a variety of clientele, who fly a variety of airplanes. The G1000 Simulator emulates many different aircraft, which can also come in handy when trying to challenge an advanced student (placing them in new, unfamiliar virtual scenarios). Additionally, students are working with a real database that receives actual updates, the same that an airline would, regularly. Plus, the G1000 is regarded by professionals as very valuable for beginner and pro training alike because of the simulator’s capabilities.

“When I started flying for major airlines, simulators played a more important role in my education, significantly enhancing my skill level. I wondered why this isn’t done at the General Aviation level,” said Julian Alarcon, founder of Simtech Aviation.

“I noticed that many flight schools push their students to log hours solely in an airplane, even though the majority of that work can be done in a simulator. When first starting out, a simulator allows the student to focus on the procedure, and therefore have better muscle memory of it, since they’re not trying to multitask operating an entire airplane. The student is thus relieved of pressure and distraction of the airplane, and able to make corrections ‘in the air’, ensuring better technique,” added Alarcon.
