“Good evening, friends, fellow delegates and most honoured guests. It is with great pleasure I welcome you all today as we gather to celebrate and recognize the outstanding achievements of our greatest humanitarians from around the world.
I have the utmost admiration for each of you in this room for the work that you do, making a positive impact in your respected communities. Every individual in this room is a hero.  The characteristics of a hero, is someone who has passion, courage and determination. We will be honouring individuals who have made a difference on humanity in the areas of human rights, peace, environment, education, health & wellness, and empowering those who are less fortunate.
How fitting that our location for tonight’s awards gala is in the United Nations building, which represents global cooperation. Each of you is representing a rich and diverse culture, from distinct corners of the globe, and with unique positions of influence. My friends, remember, you are never alone, together we stand united as one, as the human race, combining our resources and talents to make this planet a better place for all in habitants.
Let us all take examples of our brothers and sisters who have travelled far and wide to compete in the Summer Olympic Games being held this very moment in Rio. They too are heroes because their journey was filled with many challenges before reaching their Olympic dreams.  The Olympic games also represent global unity, where we put aside our differences and focus on the skills and strengths of the human body.
The mission of the G.O.D. awards, the Global Officials of Dignity, is to bridge the gap of power and influence to the sustainable peace and welfare of the human race.  I wish share a quote by the Dalai Lama, also known as a great humanitarian  – “Our prime purpose in this life is to help others, and if you can’t help them, at least do not hurt them.” It is my personal belief as well, that we all have a duty as human beings to help others who are less fortunate by providing the tools and resources for everyone to have an equal opportunity to succeed in life.
This year marks the 4th anniversary of Global Officials of Dignity awards event.  I am proud of how far this organization grown but there is still much work ahead for all of us. In the past, I have lead many significant humanitarian projects in the Philippines, Indonesia, Nigeria, Malta and the USA.  I plan to continue creating key projects in other countries.
My vision is to make a global impact by bringing awareness of other humanitarians from around the world and share their legacy with others.  Everyone has a valuable story, which we can all learn from and be inspired to continue our individual efforts when we return to our communities. I believe by working together and sharing our stories of success, we can make a lasting impact for generations ahead of us. Goodness shall prevail. Before we begin tonight’s celebration, I want to say, on behalf of everyone in this room, THANK YOU once again for each of your positive contributions as a humanitarian but most importantly as a hero to the human race.”
