Robineau Media Partners with Hope For Heather to Raise Awareness for Ovarian Cancer

Robineau Media, a Syracuse based digital marketing agency, announced today a partnership with Hope For Heather, a non-profit with a mission to raise funds for ovarian cancer research, promote local education and awareness, and provide support to women and their families devastated by the disease. This partnership will help Hope For Heather share their message with more individuals in the Central New York region through digital advertising campaigns.

Due to the pandemic, Hope For Heather was unable to share their message at in person events, including the New York State Fair, where they reach nearly 50,000 people annually. The non-profit uses these face-to-face events to raise awareness and provide education and resources on ovarian cancer.

Each year, nearly a quarter of a million women around the world are diagnosed with ovarian cancer and the disease is responsible for 140,000 deaths annually. Statistics show that just 45 percent of women with ovarian cancer are likely to survive for five years, compared with 89 percent of women with breast cancer. Ovarian cancer has been termed the silent killer because there is no test for the early detection and presenting symptoms are often mistaken for other benign conditions.

“Too many lives are affected by cancer,” said James Hunter, CEO of Robineau Media. “We are thrilled to partner with Hope For Heather to help share their story and raise awareness for ovarian cancer through the most effective digital marketing strategies.”

“We are excited to partner with Robineau Media to reach even more people in Central New York,” said Frieda Weeks, President of Hope For Heather. “Not enough women are aware of the symptoms of ovarian cancer, and since there is no screening test, it is essential to educate and raise as much awareness as we possibly can for this deadly disease.”
