Sandrine Hecq, the CEO of Soft Winkz has announced that her company is undergoing a rebrand and is the first Vegan PETA approved pillowcase in Australia.

Sandrine Hecq spent a few weeks in her home continent Africa and ended up discovering an amazing pillowcase. She fell in love with it not only for its look, comfort level but also because of the benefits it provided.
What made the pillowcase unique? It was beautiful and luxurious satin, yet it had less environmental impact than other materials like silk. As an animal-loving person, Sandrine not only switched from using silk to satin but found an added purpose to pursue.
Beginning on the Soft Winkz journey, Sandrine discovered that doctors actually recommend satin pillowcases for cancer patients who undergo chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Not only does satin provide a little bit of luxury and comfort to people going through such tough times, but it also helps the hair hold moisture-allowing hair growth. Sandrine’s mother almost died from breast cancer when Sandrine was a teenager, so this is a cause that she cares deeply about.
