SFM Announces Community, Youth, Amateur Sports Leadership Summit

Industry: Entertainment & Games

Exclusive event to be hosted by SFM and held in Clearwater, FL in September

Clearwater, FL (PRUnderground) August 8th, 2017

The Sports Facilities Management (SFM) CEO Jason Clement announced earlier this week that the SFM senior leadership team and general managers will hold the 2017 Community Sport Leadership Summit in September. While this event is exclusive to SFM General Managers, Account Executives, Risk Management, HR, Finance, and Business Development departments, Clement said it will have lasting impact on the larger community and youth sports landscape because SFM and SFA will be reviewing trends, best practices, and challenges that influence SFA’s planning and facility finance services.

“With over 50 million visits in our managed facilities since 2014, SFM is leading innovations and seeing trends at a level that is uncommon.  This summit gathers our sports facility operator teams to discuss real-world data, trends, and financials. The expertise and data cultivated here has tremendous positive effects not only for our current clients, but for our industry partners as well,” states Clement.

The event has larger implications for the entire youth and amateur sports and community recreation market as well.  The summit information on pre-work and analysis of current trends informs the SFM data used by The Sports Facilities Advisory (SFA). SFA is a separate company that provides planning and financing support services that will reach hundreds of communities in 2018.

SFA CEO Dev Pathik shares, “The Summit provides an incredible opportunity for us to look at the trends and innovations that are working at the ground level. This allows SFA to more accurately forecast financials and market activation data for upcoming projects and gives us and our clients a huge advantage in accurately predicting the future utilization of facilities we are planning or financing.”

Though the event is currently exclusive to SFM team members, Clement and Pathik are committed to ensuring that the summit and its data are used to positively impact the larger youth and amateur sports landscape.

Clement states, “We’re focused on positively impacting communities we serve. This summit is another great step to positively impacting those we don’t.”
