The North Texas Comic Book Show Announces June 29th & 30th, 2019 Event at the Irving Convention Center

Held twice a year, the comic book enthusiast community in North Texas never fails to look forward to The North Texas Comic Book Show. The next is scheduled for June 29th and 30th special guests include Jim Shooter, Fabian Nicieza, Mark Bagley, and Don McGregor.

For casual and passionate comic fans in Texas, there’s a very good reason to be excited this summer. The North Texas Comic Book Show has announced their much anticipated twice annual event will be held on June 29th and June 30th, 2019 in Irving, Texas and all signs point to it being one of, if not, their best event yet. In addition to vendors and an extra emphasis on cosplay fun, a full line-up of comic world superstars are scheduled to appear. No Texas, and especially North Texas, comic or cosplay enthusiast is going to want to miss this event, that’s for sure. The energy surrounding the special weekend is already high and rising.
“We are counting the days until the show we are beyond passionate about delivering the best experience possible,” commented a spokesperson from The North Texas Comic Book Show. “From mainstream comics to the indie comics we adore, The North Texas Comic Book Show is putting the Comics Back Into Comic Cons!”
The stunning special guest list, so far, is highlighted by scheduled appearances of A-list comic industry professionals like Jim Shooter, former Marvel Comics Editor-In-Chief and co-founder Of Valiant Comics, Fabian Nicieza, co-creator of the ultra-popular character Deadpool, Mark Bagley, noted artist on Amazing Spider-Man including the introductions of the characters Carnage and even Venom, who made it to movie fame and Don McGregor, noted writer of Black Panther. The event has always had the reputation for comic industry insiders being warm and open with fans and this one is expected to be no different.
A special Cosplay Costume Contest will be held for cash prizes.
