The Ridgewood Art Institute’s 41st Annual Open Juried Art Show Goes Virtual!

Industry: Art & Design

Virtual Galleries online February 6th through February 21, 2021. Show Judges Ellen Buselli & Ken Hamilton.

Ridgewood, NJ (PRUnderground) January 24th, 2021

The Ridgewood Art Institute Annual Juried Show is open to all artists working in a representational or traditional manner in the New York Metropolitan area. Professional and non-professional works will be judged on an equal basis by a qualified jury.  Only accepted works will be exhibited. This year was the second year we widened our net by making our application process virtual. The final result is a beautifully curated show with Artists from all over our nation represented.

In these challenging times we will only be able to exhibit virtually and we will miss the opportunity of viewing the works in our magnificent galleries. Regretfully, there will be no reception for the accepted applicants to share their special day with associates, friends and loved ones. This being our 41st Annual Open Juried Show, we have a long tradition of celebrating our accomplishments together. It will be bittersweet to not be able to do so again for this particular event. We look forward to the happy and healthy days in the future, and continue to persevere.

The show will be available online Saturday February 6th thru Sunday February 21st, and can be accessed on our website at ridgewoodartinstitute.org.  Many of these gorgeous pieces are available for purchase and a percentage of all sales help support The Ridgewood Art Institute, a veritable jewel in our community perpetuating the study of Classic Realism and providing a haven for both Artists and Art Enthusiasts to enjoy.
