We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, as we write this, Covid 19 is again wreaking havoc across the US, interrupting our work, sports, entertainment and just about everything else in our lives. With the numbers spiking, many people are steering clear of indoor dining and opting for outdoor options despite the cold.

According to our Seek Curator, Ivy, Cote is a Michelin star Korean BBQ restaurant, which means it’s pricey but well worth it. This place is a meat lover’s dream, as you can choose from a wide selection of dry-aged beef and cuts. Their outdoor dining scene maintains a safe but fantastic ambiance and temperature, with stylish dividers made out of velvet curtains and table heaters that actually keep you warm in the cold winter weather.
2. Bar Blondeau

Bar Blondeau (we like saying it) is a French-style bar brought to you by the infamous Golden Age Hospitality Group. Located in the Wythe Hotel, this roof deck is one of the prettiest in New York (you have to see it to understand). Be warned – prepare to pay for the ambiance and the stunning views, as perfection doesn’t come cheap.
3. Sami & Susu
190 Orchard St, New York, NY 10002
Sami & Susu is an all-day restaurant and specialty store that is inspired by family recipes and the many flavors of Mediterranean cuisine. First launched as a pop-up in Summer 2020, Sami and Susu was such a hit that they decided to “put down roots” in the Lower East Side. The restaurant and store offer a covered, heated area, but it also has great items that travel well that you can take out and eat in the quiet and warmth of your own home.
