Traverse Bay Farms continues to win national and regional awards. The company just on a regional award from the Traverse Magazine Red Hot Best competition. This is an annual competition where Northern Michigan show their hometown pride by nominating and voting for individuals or companies in seven different Northern Michigan regions in 46 different categories within each region.
Andy LaPointe and the employees at the Traverse Bay Farms Elk Rapids store won 1st place for the Front-Line Worker category for the Charlevoix & the Chain of Lakes: Antrim and Charlevoix County region.

With Covid-19 last year, we doubled our efforts to show how much we appreciate our customers. Like many other retail stores in Michigan and nationwide, we had limited capacity. We trained our staff to continue to provide excellent customer service for customers chose to visit our store in person during the pandemic. They enjoy our cherry juice concentrate and the photos of Hollywood celebrities with our products on our walls. In fact, our nickname is Northern Michigan’s Hollywood Hub. So we make it fun when people visit our Elk Rapids store.”
