Valentine International LLC Announces Low Income Housing Eco-Villages

Would you rather live in a depressing dormitory-styled low income apartment complex or a vibrant Eco-Village?

Hugh Simpson a former Post Newsweek TV Group investigative reporter, has formed a consulting business to design Eco-Villages using his dodecahedron Raptor Domes Kits. “It is my mission to get the US government and other nation’s governments to realize that the current solution of sticking people my age – 75 years young – into these apartment complexes is even more costly than using the domes. The maintenance is less because there are no soffits or gutters to clean. Also domes are a “heat sink” allowing them to be warm in the winter and cool in the summer without additional HVAC costs of conventional construction.”

Simpson has previously been involved with domes for over 30 years after studying with the right hand man to renowned 20th century futurist Buckminster “Bucky” Fuller, who was the Chief Evangelist for geodesic domes.

“Yes, I studied with Marshall Thurber for two years, who introduced me to my love affair with domes,” continues Simpson, author of Dome Living in the 21st Century under his pen name MR Valentine. “I learned of the DODECAHEDRON dome in 2010 and went to learn to build it from my mentor Rob.”

“The dodecahedron is the STRONGEST geometrical shape on Planet Earth. Therefore the dodecahedron dome is the strongest man-made structure on Planet Earth. It is built to withstand Category 5 hurricanes, tornadoes and mid-level Richter scale earthquakes. This was exactly what I was looking for as a Preparedness and Survival consultant since 1999, when I wrote my first book A Family Survival Manual for Y2K & Beyond. I also discussed the concept of Eco-Villages in the book.”

Simpson has now written a Kindle book entitled Domes!Domes!Domes! as MR Valentine that discusses the use of his Raptor Domes Kits to create Eco-Villages, which could have a senior’s new sport – pickle ball areas, gazebos, Raptor BioDomes, arts and crafts facility, etc.

“Currently there are months to years waiting list for these low income depressing seniors apartments,” explains Simpson, who has done extensive investigative research. “My cousin wanted me to come back to Florida to live close to her in one of these complexes. I decided to call the number she gave me. I found out from the manager there was a SEVEN YEAR waiting list! Also it was the ONLY low income complex in the area!”

“If this is not a problem needing a solution, then I will continue to offer my Eco-Village concept to others. One friend out in Arizona has approached me about designing one for a group of holistic health New Agers. A group of retired veterans in Georgia have approached me about working to house homeless US military veterans.”

Even though hundreds of US counties have approved domes as living units, Macon County North Carolina, where Simpson currently resides has not.

Simpson has started a GoGetFunding campaign to raise funds to build a full scale three to six units Eco-Village at https://gogetfunding.com/low-income-eco-villages/.
