Luxury, Australian swimwear brand, White Sands, has announced they will be presenting their SS21 Swim Collection at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week on Wednesday 2nd June at 10:30am in a standalone show in the iconic Carriageworks.
An exposé of brilliance with heart-racing heat, the new season collection is grounded in the celebration of Australia’s natural treasures – bold, passionate and iconic, a tribute to home. From the crashing coastlines, panoramic beaches and raw sense of truth, Design Director and Founder Leah Madden, was inspired by the beautiful, diverse land that is unlike any other. A sentiment that proves it’s never been more important to celebrate homegrown talent.
Embracing the brand’s Australian roots in a modern way with powered-up silhouettes and luxurious fabrics, the White Sands SS21 Collection features four stories that pay homage to Madden’s most sentimental destinations. From the free-spirited, feminine essence of Byron Bay imbued with 80’s nostalgia to the glamorous Surfers Paradise with a hit of electrified leopard. A legendary love story of Bondi and its locals is conjured with playful lines with unexpected surrealism. Finishing the presentation is the sculptural genius and panoramic beauty of a Whitsunday wonderland, an infusion of whimsical paradise and exploration.

In designing the SS21 Collection, I was inspired by family holidays to sleepy beach towns, wildly beautiful horizons, long days telling of possibility and fearless romanticism. The White Sands design blueprint has always been about sharing a slice of Australia with the world, and this new collection does exactly that,” said Leah Madden, Design Director and Owner.
