After submission of Zietchick’s manuscript to JOVE several months ago, it was first sent for evaluation by academic professionals, working in the same field, to ensure that rigorous scientific and scholarly standards were met. After receiving back positive reviews of their work, JOVE editors accepted the manuscript for publication and then, the JOVE production team launched at full speed into the project. Scriptwriters, with strong scientific backgrounds, transformed the manuscript into a screen play, culminating in the filming of the research-in-action at the laboratory of Zietchick Research Institute. The state-of-the-art laboratory of the Zietchick institute is located in the Michigan Life Science and Innovation Center in Plymouth, MI.
Currently, the video-article, featuring the work of Zietchick Research Institute, is being professionally edited and voice talent is being added. By early January 2020, the polished video will be available for viewing by students and scientists around the globe. By allowing details of exciting experiments by Zietchick Research Institute to be viewed—rather than read—scientists and students will be better prepared to understand Zietchick lab’s technology and replicate the experiments in their own labs.
