Experience world-class bouldering, community connection, and memorable adventure in Utah’s Emery County

Castle Dale, UT (PRUnderground) August 8th, 2025

Now in its 11th year, Joe’s Valley Fest (JVF) returns October 2–5, 2025, to the heart of Utah’s bouldering paradise for a long weekend of climbing, clinics, rodeo games, stewardship, and community. With early bird tickets going live August 4th, Fest organizers encourage climbers, families, and outdoor lovers to lock in their plans for this beloved fall tradition.

This year, Early Bird General Admission is just $65, available through August 17th. After that, prices increase to $80 for full-priced tickets. Admission includes climbing and access to all festival activities: live music, yoga, geology tours, games, and community events. The JVF team intentionally provides a variety of ticket pricing. Joe’s Valley Fest is committed to accessibility, offering a range of ticket options—including youth pricing and volunteer opportunities—to ensure everyone who wants to be part of the experience can join in.

“Joe’s has always been about more than boulders,” said Adriana Chimaras, Joe’s Valley Fest co-founder. “It’s about gathering, giving back, and creating a space where everyone—from first-timers to legends—feels like they belong here.”

From sunrise sends to late-night campfires, Joe’s Valley Fest offers a mix of expert-led climbing clinics, youth programming, stewardship projects, live music, gear vendors, rodeo and climber games, and local food trucks. Nestled in the small towns of Castle Dale and Orangeville, the Festival transforms Utah’s quiet desert canyons into a vibrant hub of outdoor culture.

Proceeds from Joe’s Valley Fest support trail maintenance, rural youth camps, and year-round community programming through the nonprofit Joe’s Valley Climbing & Community.

“Every dollar helps us keep trails open, host local kids at summer camp, and build something meaningful beyond climbing rocks,” said Danny Van Wagoner, Mayor of Castle Dale and Joe’s Valley Climbing & Community Board Member. “We’re excited to welcome new faces and longtime friends back to the Valley.”
