The LxVE Collective, in partnership with Lighthaus, has launched LxVE Academy, a summer learning program designed to provide emerging creatives with the tools, mentorship, and industry knowledge necessary to build sustainable careers.
“LxVE Academy was built to bridge the gap between creative passion and tangible opportunity,” said Alfred Coles, Jr., co-founder of The LxVE Collective. “There’s no shortage of talent, but access to guidance, resources, and networks remains a challenge. This program is designed to change that by creating a more direct and accessible path forward.”
As more professionals pursue creative and independent career paths in today’s evolving economy, initiatives like LxVE Academy are helping meet the increasing demand for accessible education, business acumen, and real-world industry insight.
Featuring a diverse group of instructors with decades of combined experience, the program emphasizes practical, hands-on learning to equip participants with actionable strategies they can apply immediately.
Course topics will span both creative and business disciplines, including building a sustainable creative career, artist advocacy, branding and marketing, audience development, creative technology, podcast production, website development, event curation, financial management, grant writing, and public relations for creatives.
The virtual series will be held on Saturdays from June 6 through Aug. 29, 2026, at 12 p.m. EDT. Registration is currently open, with enrollment available at $99. Additional fees may apply.
Designed for emerging and aspiring creatives, as well as individuals looking to better navigate the creative economy, the program offers collaborative learning opportunities and supports the development of tangible projects aimed at long-term career growth.
