Power Supply Podcast Features Abdallah Salloum

Noted supply chain and industrial manufacturing expert, Abdallah Salloum was recently the focus of a profile on the transparency required in a manufacturer’s internal supply chain. Hosted by Power Supply, the Supply Chain Podcast, and credited as Abe, Mr. Salloum’s original interview in the fall of 2022 has received renewed attention for its relevance and value to the healthcare supply chain.

In the podcast episode, titled “Suppliers Managing Suppliers: A Look Behind the Curtain of Manufacturing,” Mr. Salloum emphasizes the importance of putting internal structures in place to manage the vast and varied suppliers involved in the end-to-end manufacturing experience.

“It is always a privilege to sit with experts in our space who understand the importance of transparency in our processes,” said Mr. Salloum. “To see renewed emphasis and interest in this topic is refreshing as we work to fix the processes that have stood in the way of the most efficient, customer-centric, manufacturing process.”

Power Supply, the Supply Chain Podcast, is hosted by Justin Poulin, Hays Waldrop, and Gary Skinner. These industry insiders understand the medical supply chain process and bring their wisdom to discussing the logistics, relationships, purchasing, and processes that bring necessary healthcare products to patients across the country.

Abdallah Salloum is the Former Vice President and General Manager of the GE Healthcare Global Supply Chain. He has leveraged his multinational expertise in process and product development to drive the transformation of multisite supply chain operations and organizational performance. Mr. Salloum graduated from Davenport University and holds his MBA in strategic management. He is a member of the University of Michigan Industrial Engineering Advisory Board.
