Abdallah Salloum has demonstrated generous philanthropic efforts in his continued support of Zaman International – Hope for Humanity. The organization is committed to addressing marginalized women and children’s basic needs and empowerment locally and internationally. To facilitate change and advance the lives of marginalized women and children by enabling them to meet essential needs common to all humankind and to realize a world where women and their children can break the cycle of poverty and self-direct their futures.
The story of Zaman International begins in 1996 with the terminal diagnosis of a three-month-old infant. His parents, newly immigrated to the United States, had to face the heart-wrenching reality that no treatment would save him. Zaman Founder and CEO Najah Bazzy, a Transcultural Clinical Nurse Specialist, provided clinical, spiritual, and cultural support to this family throughout their time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
On behalf of the world’s most vulnerable people, Salloum has donated a large sum to Zaman International to continue providing humanitarian aid in developing countries worldwide. Zaman offers medical supplies, food and water, shelter, healthcare, and other essentials to those who need them most.

Davenport University alum Abdallah Salloum has held key leadership positions with GE Healthcare (GEHC) since 2017. Before helping the company drive its MRI supply chain division to $2.5B in revenue, he worked with GE Oil & Gas to focus on their advanced manufacturing engineering improving operational efficiency and addressing cost management. His efforts supported 6 Oil and Gas P&Ls with $18.5B in annual sales.
