7th Grade Immunization Ambassador Takes The Lead in Vax Education
The Immunization Ambassador group today introduced the latest advocate for vaccinations: Malin Moeller, a 7th grade student at the BASIS School in Washington, DC.

While a 5th grader, for her end-of-year English project, Malin chose as her research question, “Do the benefits of vaccines outweigh the risks?” Her conclusion, as she puts it, was “with science” and thus a strong YES for vaccinations. (Plus, she got an “A” on the assignment.)
Now a 7th grader, Malin just got her first HPV shot and recently became the youngest member of the Immunization Ambassador community.
Malin encourages other students to do school papers and presentations about vaccines and she has made her PowerPoint presentation available to other students on the STC website at https://tinyurl.com/IINews0917
In honor of Malin’s work, the Immunization Ambassadors commissioned a cartoon encouraging students to take on the topic.
