Akademos Joins VitalSource and Publishers to Provide Free Access to eTextbooks

Akademos has joined VitalSource in an initiative to help ensure customers and students impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic will have free access to digital learning materials through the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester.

Beginning March 16 and for the rest of the semester, access to an expansive catalog of eBooks will be available for free to students at client institutions who have semester-based calendars that have chosen to curtail physical teaching in response to COVID-19. Students will be able to simply log in to VitalSource’s Bookshelf app using their school email address to view available course materials from participating publishers.
