In the report, Axiros AXTRACT is included amongst vendors that provide event stream processing platforms. Gartner notes that the market for ESP has expanded rapidly over the last two years, driven by two factors: Business demand to gain faster insight based on event-based data sources from sensors, social media activity streams, operations monitoring and e-commerce transactions (among others) and the availability of scalable stream analytics product offerings capable of performing advanced analytics and machine learning in near-real time over ingested streams in a variety of deployment footprints.
The Axiros AXTRACT platform is a powerful resource for businesses that wish to gain rapid insight into event-based data.
“We believe this mention in the Gartner report is another reaffirmation of the value we bring to stream analytics,” said Kurt Peterhans, CEO of Axiros. “AXTRACT provides a quality of experience that is necessary for quality monitoring.”
Axiros’ AXTRACT can use available metadata to solve critical IoT problems like determining which gateways in the field delivers the best or worst WAN quality, if packet loss is a factor, and how quickly customers are interacting with advertising products.
This is only the most recent Gartner mention of Axiros. Earlier this year Axiros was identified as a “Vendor to Watch” by Gartner for its work with edge computing.**
