Doherty Enterprises Opens New Wendy’s® Restaurant in Corona, Queens

Doherty Enterprises, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of a brand-new Wendy’s® restaurant at 40-16 National Street in Corona, Queens. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., when Doherty leadership will be joined by local officials and community VIPs to celebrate the restaurant’s official grand opening.

Prior to the public launch, the new Wendy’s will host a Friends and Family soft opening on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 5pm to 7pm, giving the team an opportunity to welcome early guests and prepare for the restaurant’s debut in the neighborhood.

The new Wendy’s will serve the brand’s signature menu throughout breakfast, lunch and dinner, including favorites like the Baconator®, Dave’s Single™, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Frosty® dessert. Guests will also be able to enjoy Wendy’s convenient ordering options, including mobile ordering and delivery through the Wendy’s app and participating delivery partners.
