Doherty Enterprises-owned Wendy’s® Restaurant in Flatbush, Brooklyn Unveils a Brand-New Look

Doherty Enterprises, Inc. is pleased to announce the completion of a remodel of its Wendy’s® iconic American hamburger restaurant located at 469 Flatbush Ave in Brooklyn, NY.

The new restaurant will provide guests with the signature Wendy’s items they know and love across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including the Baconator®, Dave’s Single™, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and the Frosty® dessert (in chocolate AND vanilla). Wendy’s serves freshly prepared, quality food at affordable prices, while providing exceptional hospitality and friendly customer service.

To celebrate the new look, a special ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 11 a.m., when Melvyn Jones, Doherty’s Director of Operations, will officially unveil the refreshed restaurant. Also in attendance will be Wendy’s Frosty® mascot for family fun photo ops.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the Flatbush community into our refreshed Wendy’s that combines the familiar flavors our guests love with a modern, inviting atmosphere,” said Melvyn Jones, Director of Operations at Doherty Enterprises. “Our team worked diligently to enhance every detail, from comfortable seating to streamlined service areas, so families can enjoy their Baconators® and Frostys® in an updated space designed for today’s needs.”

The restaurant is open from 6:30 am to 4 am, 7 days a week and home delivery is available.

All are invited to attend the ribbon-cutting event on June 16. Following the ceremony, guests will be able to tour the new dining area and meet the Doherty leadership team.
