Dr. Justin Roth, Pediatric and Adult Orthopedic Surgeon at The Center Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Care is now affiliated with Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel in Portland, performing complex surgical cases and taking emergency department call three days a month. This will allow Dr. Roth to provide a wider range of specialized treatment options for Central Oregon children at that location when necessary. Families will benefit from receiving pre-operative care and follow up visits without needing to travel. Dr. Roth is working with the three existing pediatric orthopedic surgeons at Randall Children’s Hospital that currently provide comprehensive pediatric orthopedic care to children from the Portland metro area.
Randall Children’s Hospital has provided access to specialized pediatric care in Central Oregon since 2014 when they partnered with Central Oregon Pediatric Associates (COPA). Pediatric specialists scheduling visits at COPA include endocrinology, gastroenterology, eating disorders, oncology, nephrology, neurology, pulmonology, and rheumatology.
“Randall Children’s Hospital has done a great job of enhancing and expanding pediatric specialty services available to children in Central Oregon,” says Justin Roth, DO. “I feel privileged to expand on that work and be able to use my expertise and training to provide the same level of care available to children in larger metropolitan areas, while keeping children and their families at home as much as possible.”
Dr. Roth completed his fellowship training in pediatric orthopedics at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California and completed his residency at Riverside University Health System in Moreno Valley, California. Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Roth spent seven years as a research and development engineer for a myriad of industries including orthopedic spinal deformity and trauma devices.
