Immunization Ambassadors And The Shot@Life Campaign

20 Year Anniversary of Ted Turner’s World Changing Gift

Immunization Ambassadors And The Shot@Life Campaign

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (PRUnderground) May 25, 2017

This year is the 20th anniversary of Ted Turner’s billion-dollar gift to the United Nations. That gift began the modern era of big money gifts. The UN used the money to create the UN Foundation, which works to solve global problems, especially around health.

Five years ago, when the Gates folks recognized the cost-effective work that the Foundation was doing with childhood vaccines, they put up the money to create an expanded program, creating Shot@Life.

Representatives of the Immunization Ambassadors and Scientific Technologies Corporation joined those in attendance at a recent UN Foundation’s conference, in New York City, and created a special NYC cartoon in honor of the vaccination work done by both groups.

About the Immunization Ambassador program

The Immunization Ambassador program was launched two years ago by Lara Popovich and Michelle Bonjour with a goal of engaging a community of immunization advocates who want to educate and engage others through social media.  The ability to interact and engage individuals through social media such as Twitter and Instagram have been key factors in participation and engagement. Since the Immunization Ambassador inception, the program has nearly quadrupled in size and expanded worldwide.  We invite you to Join the Movement at immunizationambassadors.com.
