The finalists have been revealed for the 2018 Cornwall, Devon and Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards and John Fowler Holiday Parks have been nominated for three awards in the Holiday Park & Village of the Year category.

Now operating in its 65th year, John Fowler Holidays has grown in to one of the UK’s largest self catering holiday accommodation providers, with 11 holiday parks in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.

St Ives Holiday Village will receive their award at the Cornwall Tourism Awards Ceremony on 1st November at Truro Cathedral. An increased 189 entries were received from across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, with 79 selected as finalists. St Ives Holiday Village is set in 100 acres of woodland and has undergone a multi-million pound development programme over the past few years. Old chalets have been removed with 29 being refurbished and over 94 luxury lodges, some with private hot tubs have been added.

This year's Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards is sponsored by Bristol Airport and Sandy Glade Holiday Park in Burnham-on-Sea are one of two finalists in the Holiday Park of the Year category. The awards will be presented at the Apex Hotel, Bath on 15th November.

With 164 entries in the Devon Tourism Awards  the judging panel selected 77 finalists and 6 Highly Commended based on evidence and reports from 115 visits to businesses across Devon. South Bay Holiday Park in Brixham will be the final winner to be announced for John Fowler Holidays and will take home Bronze, Silver or Gold at the awards ceremony at the Highbullen Hotel on 22nd November.
