But what happened next? What is going to happen next? KLiF Productions, LLC and Keili Fernando release “What’s Next For Me?”, a short film that beautifully captures the uncertainties of young adulthood in the modern age. 

With the release date of November 5, 2021 on YouTube, “What’s Next For Me?” is an honest and vulnerable reflection of Keili’s personal experiences with navigating post-grad life – a time riddled with complex emotions, dissolved dreams, heartbreak, and even loneliness. Based on Keili’s journal entries during a dark and uncertain season, this film illustrates the reality that is affecting generations who were told the path to success was straightforward, when in fact, it was not so easy. 

The digital age has spawned an era of comparison and competition. Young adults find themselves struggling to keep up with their peers and pop culture trends. They wrestle with the pre-painted picture of what they think they should have accomplished by a certain age. This short yet powerful film provides viewers with a relatable and authentic view into the internal monologue of self-doubt and anxiety. Although, through self-reflection and resilience, Keili proves that there is still hope on the horizon for individuals like herself – where one can find inspiration, healing, and strength.

I was very lucky to be surrounded by a group of people who believed in my vision and creative abilities. They banded around me to help me see this project through.
