Manahawkin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Kia have record setting food drive.

Manahawkin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Kia collected more than 400 bags of non-perishable groceries to help fill the pantries at local food banks throughout Southern Ocean County. Food was delivered to Barnegat Township food pantry, Little Egg Harbor food pantry, and Grace Calvary church.

“The best part of my job is giving back to the community.” Say Blaise Scibetta, General Sales Manager for both Manahawkin Kia and Manahawkin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. “We work to get everyone we can driving the vehicle of their dreams but in the end, providing that service along with serving the community drives my team.” says Blaise

Manahawkin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Manahawkin Kia have supported Southern Ocean County for more than 20 years. The have put a strong focus on local education and feeding the hungry. Earlier this year, they helped clean up both Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Barnegat Township, NJ during their annual clean up days as well as providing Barnegat Township with funding for their annual Pirate’s Day Event but when it comes to making sure people in need have food during the upcoming Holiday season and winter months to follow, the entire team at both dealerships steps up to help. “The community should follow our Facebook pages so they can see the journey. It’s amazing when you see the first customer coming in with 2 bags and then see multiple vehicles leaving the dealerships at the end to deliver the food.  I want to thank the local community, Barnegat Mayor Albert Bille and his council, Little Egg Harbor Mayor Ray Gormley and his council for stepping up to help us break our own food drive record.” says Scibetta.
