Mobile Battery Squad Explains Why COVID May Have Caused Your Dead Car Battery in Austin Texas

The Mobile Battery Squad explains why COVID-19 has caused dead car batteries.

San Antonio, TX (PRUnderground) January 5, 2021

Have you walked out to start your car only to find that the battery is dead?  Your not the only one.

Mobile Battery Squad has stated that there has been over an 18% rise in dead car batteries.  A clear 70% of those dead batteries are due to inactivity during COVID.  Yes, not using your car can cause the battery to become lifeless and ruin it.

Here are some tips to keep you from experiencing a dead car battery.  The first is to start your car for a few minutes every few days.  Running your vehicle allows for the alternator to charge the battery back up to capacity.  Second, purchase a battery if you are not going to use your automobile for awhile.  Using a battery will keep your battery charged and ready for use.

If you have questions about your automotive battery or how to keep it charged, reach out to the Mobile Battery Squad.
