Borboleta ® is a women\\\'s handbag brand started in 2012. Borboleta means butterfly in Portuguese. Butterfly resonates with the concept of our brand, which is to create lightweight, beautiful handbags for women with on-the-go lifestyle. All our bags are cruelty-free (made from vegan leather) and ethically-produced. Borboleta serves happy customers around the world: roughly 65% hail from the US, 20% from Asia, 10% from Europe, and 5% from the Middle East. We believe that we are all travelers through life. Whether it’s a trip to the local grocery store or a stroll on Paris’ Left Bank, women need bags that are chic, lightweight, multi-functional, and have lots of pockets for super organization.
