Since its founding in 1981 as a not-for-profit 501 c 4 organization under the IRS Rules, Public Advocate has grown into a dedicated group of young conservatives in Washington, D.C., with a network of volunteers and supporters nationwide.Public Advocate filed 19 amicus briefs before federal courts and the Supreme Court last year with a total of over 100 briefs in the past 30 years defending religious liberty, protecting children from pornography or opposing transgender surgery on children. Public Advocate reached 100 million views on 24 social media platforms and email in 2024 and regularly publishes and contacts over 2 million Americans each year using regular postal mail.
