SassyBlack is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Seattle, WA. Having studied jazz vocals, she holds a degree of music from Cornish College of the Arts. Her band THEESatisfaction signed to Sub Pop Records in 2011. Since then they have released 2 albums awE naturelE (2012) & more recently EarthEE earlier this year. She currently writes for the Seattle Weekly (print) & STACKEDD Mag (online) as well as runs her own fashion line under the name Bettie Brown Goods.
