TrainScription is a privacy-first Chrome extension that transcribes browser-based meetings and calls entirely on the user\'s device. No bots join calls. No audio is transmitted to external servers. No audio files are saved to disk. Built by independent developer Terrance Henry in Elyria, Ohio, TrainScription uses WebAssembly-based Whisper AI to deliver real-time, speaker-labeled transcription with a personal vocabulary correction layer called the Phonetic Brain. Available on the Chrome Web Store with a free tier and a one-time Pro license.
