Today WhosOnLocation is proud to announce that it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification, an important compliance milestone for both ourselves and our customers.

As the first fully integrated visitor, contractor, employee, and evacuation management system in the cloud to achieve ISO certification WhosOnLocation customers have an independent assurance that we take the security of our customers information very seriously.

“The benefits to all of our customers, especially our Enterprise scale customers around the world who themselves are ISO certified, are significant. Knowing the company behind the software they are using to protect the safety and security of their people is not only using ISO and SOC 2 certified data hosting services, but is itself ISO certified gives our customers greater peace of mind”. said Darren Whitaker-Barnett, WhosOnLocation’s CEO/Founder.

Compliance with the International Standard for Information Security Management further expands WhosOnLocation’s commitment to Data Privacy and Security. Demonstrating WhosOnLocation’s global commitment to a repeatable, continuously improving, risk-based security program.

“We don’t just use ISO certificated data hosting facilities, the entire industry ticks that box by default. We ourselves meet that standard” said Whitaker-Barnett.

ISO 27001:2013 is a comprehensive security management standard that specifies a set of best practices and controls across all areas of a business from leadership, planning, and support to operation practises. It is an internationally recognized standard and means as an organization we have; examined our information security risks, designed a set of security controls to mitigate these risk, adopted a management process that reviews these controls on an ongoing basis, conducted an internal audit of conformity and had an audit conducted by BSI to test for conformity.
