Jools Holland will be hitting the road again later this year with his famous Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, and Dublin is to be one of the cities that will enjoy a performance from this legendary pianist in October.

The talented London-born pianist is perhaps best known to the UK public as the face of BBC2’s much loved musical showcase Later... with Jools Holland, which he has now been presenting for twenty years. He first found fame, however, as a founding member of the new wave band Squeeze, who enjoyed a great deal of mainstream success with songs like ‘Cool for Cats’ and ‘Up the Junction’ in the 1970s and ‘80s.

In recent years, Jools has concentrated on putting together a suitably extravagant band to accompany his spellbinding live performances, and this has now grown into a twenty-piece outfit which is bound to keep the crowds staying at Dublin hotels with Hotel Direct next month entertained when he plays in the Irish capital.
