Swaggacity.com & True Story Swain are hosting the 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

Swaggacity.com, as well as Houston native True Story Swain are hosting the 3^rd annual food drive scheduled for November 23, 2014 from 2pm-5pm across the street from Emancipation Park at 2900 Dowling Street. Historically the food drive was hosted at Emancipation Park however due to the restoration efforts taking place at the park; Swaggacity.com & True Story Swain will be conducting the food drive in the open parking lot at 2900 Dowling to benefit the 3^rd ward community.

The two groups are collaborating with Hip Hop Weekly, Bobby J Photography, La Bella Elise Boutique, Hammerhead Records and 97.9 radio personality Kiotti to make the food drive bigger and better this year. Last year the food collected benefitted over 30 families, and this year we are projecting a much bigger turn out.

Swaggacity is extending the invitation to the public to come out a lend a helping hand by donating the following non-perishable food items:

• Uncooked Turkeys & Hams
• Meals in a can (stew, chili, soup)
• Tuna and canned meat
• Canned foods with pop-top lids
• Cereal
• 100% fruit juices in single serving boxes
• Canned fruit packed in juice
• Canned vegetables
• Bisquick or flour
• Sugar
• Cornmeal/ Corn Muffin Mix
• Instant Mashed Potatoes
• Stuffing Mix
• Canned Gravy or Gravy Packages
• Creamed Soups
• Cranberry Sauce
• Yams
• Marshmallows
• Canned Pie Filling
• Pie Crust Mix
• Canned Pumpkin
• Canned Evaporated Milk
• Jell-O and Pudding Mixes

This event is free to the public, we welcome any family in need to come out and allow us to be a blessing to them for Thanksgiving. Please spread the word, come out lend a hand and be a blessing.
