The Pink Fund Announces New Fundraising Initiative

The Pink Fund today announced plans to launch a new fundraising program called THE POWER OF THE PURSE. Slated for a late 2017 launch, the program will provide a new fundraising avenue for The Pink Fund to raise funds to support its mission, to provide short-term financial aid to breast cancer patients in active treatment.

The Power of the Purse will call upon influential women to donate purses that will be used in fundraising activities.  “I’ve been working to identify new fundraising efforts that can become another signature program for The Pink Fund like Dancing With the Survivors," said Molly MacDonald, Founder and CEO of the Pink Fund. "The Power of the Purse will enable us to help more breast cancer patients cover their essential financial obligations."
