B+E first net lease company to offer impaired asset dispositions to clients

New York, NY (PRUnderground) February 15, 2021
B+E, the first brokerage and technology platform for net lease real estate, today announced the addition of Tim Taylor as a Senior Director in the New York B+E office.
“We are very excited to welcome Tim to the B+E team,” said B+E CEO Camille Renshaw. “He will lead the newly formed Special Situations group within B+E, working with special servicers and debt providers to maximize proceeds from impaired asset dispositions. B+E is now the only net lease company to offer impaired asset dispositions to clients.”
Tim was the founder and Managing Partner of Tar River Capital Partners, a New York real estate consulting and advisory firm. He is recognized in the commercial real estate finance community as skilled in the pricing, structuring and placement of performing, non-performing and distressed debt and equity. He has traded over $7 billion of performing and more than $1.5 billion of discounted paper over the past two decades.
Tim was Head of Special Situations at Ten-X, directly managing the largest special servicer accounts that bought and sold commercial real estate on the Ten-X auction site. His client base included not only special servicers but commercial real estate bankruptcy practitioners, impaired CMBS borrowers, and many institutional owners.
Prior to Ten-X, Tim was a Managing Director at Cantor Commercial Real Estate (CCRE), the real estate finance arm of Cantor Fitzgerald where he led the placement effort for all non-securitized debt -- over $900 million in private placements.
Tim holds an MBA with a concentration in real estate and finance from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, and a B.A. in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was named a Morehead-Cain Scholar, the oldest merit-based award in the United States.
