6th annual Made In New York Jazz Festival Montenegro set to dazzle music lovers with a lineup of legendary performers

In its sixth year, the Made In New York Jazz Festival Montenegro will be held Sep. 3-5 at three of the most popular music venues in the Balkans. Festival organizers have assembled a roster of jazz greats, including Stanley Jordan, Lezlie Harrison, Vince Ector, Abelita Mateus, and many more.

As the European community and the world at large continues working toward coming out of these unprecedented times, organizers for this year’s Made In New York Jazz Festival / Montenegro are bringing together a lineup of legends designed to captivate all lovers of this classic music genre.

The sixth annual jazz festival will be held Sep. 3-5.

Porto Montenegro, a luxury super-yacht marina featuring waterfront homes and a vibrant nautical village in the UNESCO protected Bay of Kotor, becomes a strategic partner of the festival this year. Porto Montenegro will host the grand opening night of the event on Synchro Stage.

Among those slated to perform are: Stanley Jordan (guitar), Lezlie Harrison (vocals), Vince Ector (drums), Abelita Mateus (piano), Yaacov Mayman (tenor saxophone), Freddie Hendrix, trumpet) John Lee (bass), Vladimir Maraš (piano), Šule Jovović (guitar), Enes Tahirović (piano), Pedja Milutinović (drums), and many more.

The festival provides with a great opportunity for the artist in our Region from Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia to perform with the legends and showcase our talents on big stages throughout the Country” says Vladimir Maras – Regional Director of the Made In New York Jazz Festival

The second night will be held at the Sejdefa Jazz Club – while the final night of the festival will take place at The Capital Plaza Atrium. Both venues are located in Podgorica.

In 2021, the German Embassy in Montenegro has partnered with the festival and will provide an opportunity for young musicians from Germany to join this International event.

French carmaker Renault became the official automobile of the Made In New York Jazz Festival Montenegro for the sixth year in a row.
