All Army Soul/R&B Singer Chris Legacy Signs U.S. Radio Promotion Deal After Single Hits #4 on UK Indie Charts

From U.S. Army Entertainer to having a top hit on the UK indie charts, soulful R&B singer-songwriter, entertainer, Chris Legacy, armed with an exciting new deal, is set to have a significant impact on the U.S radio.

Singer-songwriter Chris Legacy (aka Staff Sergeant Chris Fairley for his performances as an All-Army Entertainer) is on the rise. Blending soul and R&B in a way that touches the heart and soul. Backed by charismatic performances, Legacy’s combination of talent, positive energy and drive have carried him all the way to a #4 spot in UK indie charts and now the rising star is poised to explode on US radio in a big way.
The Mississippi-born Legacy made the announcement he has signed a radio promotion deal with a California based company led by Joe Mason (Motown, WCERecords/Sony and Never Stop Ent.) and Ken Wilson (Sony, J Records, Columbia Records, Warner Brothers, Arista and MCA Records) on March 31st 2019 after performing on stage in Florence South Carolina at The Florence Center. Legacy performed with powerhouse artists Frankie Beverly & Maze, Lenny Williams and The Terrance Young Experience to a crowd that couldn’t get enough of him. The company is also currently promoting music for Charlie Wilson, Johnny Gill, India Arie, Fantasia, and #40 Billboard Mediabase Charts holder Diamonique Jackson.

Mason saw that something special in Legacy, going back to 2018, when he saw him perform at a Blues concert in Greensboro, NC when Lecagy was traveling with classic R&B vocalist Lenny Williams, best-known for his hit song “I Love You”. “Even Lenny had great things to say about Chris’s personality, character and his vocal ability he is truly a seasoned entertainer and recording artist,” remarked Mason about the experience that would get the ball rolling towards his current deal.
Unusual for an American-artist Legacy’s music has already taken off overseas on the U.K. Indie Charts where his new single “Hello” debuting at number #17 and making it all the way up to #4 on their highly-contested charts.

Veterans, retirees and active duty personnel are among his most loyal fans knowing Legacy is an All-Army Entertainer Army Vocalist by day performing in his military capacity as SSG Chris Fairley, the name he was born and joined the service with.
