American Sentinel will recognize this significant event with a week-long celebration that includes a Constitution Week web page, infographic, internal virtual trivia, and a gift card drawing for students and alumni.

Students and alumni are invited to complete a digital constitution crossword to be entered in a drawing to win a $25 gift card. American Sentinel will also host an internal celebration for faculty and staff to learn more about Constitution Day and the document it celebrates and partake in Constitution Virtual Trivia!

American Sentinel recognizes these activities as a celebration of our mission statement, which calls on us to provide students an opportunity to enhance their civic lives.

“We use Constitution Week as an opportunity for our students, alumni, faculty and staff to come together and reflect on our founding documents that provided a framework for the effective governance of our country,” said Mary Adams, President at American Sentinel University.

Constitution Day (formerly Citizenship Day) commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787. It is an American federal observance that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens.
