Chippewa Valley Technical College Welcomes eCampus.com as New Online Bookstore Provider

Industry: Retail & eCommerce

Chippewa Valley Technical College, located in Eau Claire, WI, has selected eCampus.com, a premier online bookstore model for higher education institutions, as the new campus bookstore provider.

Lexington, KY (PRUnderground) December 20th, 2021

CVTC chose eCampus.com through a request for proposal (RFP) process since the current bookstore contract was reaching its expiration.

The partnership with eCampus.com will focus on online access. With single sign-on, students will have instant access to a customized list of instructor-selected materials with the ability to choose from a wide selection of course material format options such as new, used, eBook, rental, and Marketplace at a savings.

As a result of this change, CVTC’s partnership with Follett will end, and the physical location of the campus bookstore will close Wednesday, March 30.

“CVTC is excited to launch a bookstore with eCampus.com. Our district is 110 miles wide and this store will provide all students with easy, 24-hour online access to course materials wherever they live,” said Kirk Moist, CVTC Vice President of Finance and Facilities.

”We’re pleased to welcome Chippewa Valley Technical College to the eCampus.com Online Bookstore program and applaud them for making college affordability a priority for their students,” said Matt Montgomery, President and CEO of eCampus.com. “We look forward to aligning our innovative solution with their mission of preparing students for success.”

Students will utilize the existing Follett Campus bookstore for their spring textbook and course material purchases. The transition to eCampus.com textbook and course material purchases will occur after April 1.
