Genesis Environmental Solutions Wins Contract for Kansas City International Airport Project

Genesis Environmental Solutions, Inc. of Blue Springs, Missouri and St. Louis, Missouri, has been selected to begin preliminary construction activities for the new Kansas City International Airport Terminal.
Before construction on the New Terminal can begin, the original Terminal A must be deconstructed. Genesis has been chosen by Clark | Weitz | Clarkson to cut, cap and make safe the utilities at the old terminal. Genesis has also been awarded the GSE Unleaded Gasoline Tank Relocation project from CWC JV.

Genesis is one of nine local minority and women-owned businesses that are involved in the demolition of the old terminal and reconstruction of the New Kansas City International Airport. It should take between four and six months for Terminal A to be completely dismantled. Construction of the New Terminal is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2019. The $1.5 billion project should be finished and ready to open in early 2023.
