Mangan Software Solutions SLM™ Version 2.7s1 Release

We’re excited to announce the completion of SLM Sprint Release 2.7s1, delivering enhancements that improve configurability, administration controls, and overall usability across the Safety Lifecycle Manager (SLM) platform.

🧩 Configurable HAZOP Fields

This release introduces configurable HAZOP text fields, allowing administrators to define up to ten custom fields within the HAZOP Facilitation tab. These fields can be configured globally and applied across Enterprise, Company, and Site levels, giving organizations greater flexibility to tailor HAZOP workflows to their internal processes.

🔐 Improved Administration & Governance Controls

Updates have also been made to user administration and governance controls. The Data Administrator and Instances Administrator roles have been removed, and users with account creation permissions can now only create standard user accounts rather than additional System Administrator accounts. Additional account-level configuration properties have also been introduced to provide more granular administrative control.

📊 Reporting & Visualization Improvements

Several usability improvements were implemented across reporting and chart interfaces. Tooltips in graphic-grid reports now appear only when charts are sufficiently visible on screen, preventing floating tooltips when scrolling. In addition, date-based chart axes now render correctly when space is limited, preventing label overlap and improving readability.

🛠️ System Fixes & API Expansion

Additional fixes include restoring document downloads in Alarm Functional Requirements related-document tables, hiding empty toolbars within System module interfaces, and correcting a refresh issue that prevented ID columns from appearing correctly in SIL Calculation architecture tables. A new API endpoint for retrieving Action Items associated with an object has also been introduced, expanding SLM’s integration capabilities.
