Multifaceted artist, Clarol, set to release latest single “Bounce”

Nigerian-born multifaceted artist, Clarence Mayiko is a Nigerian-American rapper, songwriter, and singer. He goes by the stage name Clarol or Clarolbahdman. Clarol has been in awe of the magic that music creates since a very young age and started honing his craft when he was just 8 years old. But it wasn’t until he turned 16 years old that he decided to make a career out of his passion for making music. With his hard work and dedication, Clarol is rapidly paving his way through the music industry.

This young talented artist created a buzz on the internet with his single “Take It Off” back in August 2019. There was no looking back for him after that. He has been working seamlessly ever since on his music and coming up with some really amazing singles. In 2020, he releases the single “On me”, which is a drill song. This astounding track won many hearts and garnered over 36k streams on Spotify and over 12k streams on Apple music in a short span of time. This single was accompanied by a music video on YouTube that has over 10k views on the platform.

After releasing great upbeat singles, Clarol is now working on his first EP “Beauty in the Struggle”. The first single off his EP is titled “Bounce” which is set for a release on June 25, 2021. It is a trap song, which is a perfect amalgamation of upbeat music and free-flowing lyrics. “Bounce” has the potential to get to the top of people’s playlists in no time. It is a song that fits well with every mood and vibe. Be it a house party, clubbing, long drive with your lover, or a walk by the beach, “Bounce” has got everything covered. Telling about his musical, Clarol says, “Journey so far has not been easy, but giving up is not an option. So, I have been working a lot on my craft”. Clarol gives his hundred percent in every project that he picks up. He leaves no stone unturned in making it better than his previous work.

Clarol draws inspiration from the likes of legendary artists like Drake, Lil Wayne, 50cent, and Nas. He doesn’t like to categorize his music style to a particular genre and wants to explore and experiment with different music styles. He says, “I would describe my style of music as very versatile coz I don’t just rap; I try to tap in with all style of music.”
