Stephen Cummings Joins GrowthLab’s Finance-as-a-Service Team Overseeing Business Strategy & Tax

GrowthLab has been at the forefront of providing practical financial and strategic advice to help the broader small business community navigate the most dramatic economic downturn in history. Like everyone, we wanted to “do our part” as a partner with our customers and non-customers alike.

Today, GrowthLab is pleased to announce that in June 2020 — in the midst of the challenges of COVID-19 — we made a key strategic hire to the GrowthLab Team. Stephen Cummings joined GrowthLab as our Vice President of Business Strategy & Tax. With the addition of Stephen to our management team, GrowthLab continues to address the needs of our customer base better, stronger, and faster. 

Stephen is an accomplished senior financial manager with decades of experience with domestic and international customers. He has led and managed finance, accounting, and tax planning & advisory. In prior roles, Stephen held leadership roles in private, publicly traded, venture-backed, and turnaround companies. Dan Gertrudes, GrowthLab CEO noted that, “From my first interaction with Steve, I knew he had an innate ability to connect with people. He focuses on the customer’s experience and weaves in business, financial, and tax advice to drive value to our customers.
