World Emblem Donates to Samaritan’s Feet

Randy Carr, CEO & President of World Emblem donated $5,000 to Samaritan’s Feet. An organization that inspires hope through the gift of shoes, the act of washing feet, and encouragement to those who need it most. People without shoes face dangers like laceration, fungus, and insect bites that can lead to infection, disease, and even death. Children with no shoes are often not allowed entrance to education in many countries and can find their way into slavery, or unsafe and inexcusable child labor environments. Samaritans feet and its partners have distributed over 6.5 million pairs of shoes in 88 countries and 325 U.S. cities. As soon as Randy Carr heard about this organization, he was ready to embark on this journey to help children around the world. “Samaritan’s Feet represents something so much bigger than us, so it was a no brainer to donate. I cannot imagine children not being able to get an education because they do not own a pair of shoes. Keeping smart is a Core Value I live by, and a Core Value at World Emblem.” Carr states.

Together Rhythm Systems & World Emblem donated $10,000 dollars to the Samaritan’s Feet Organization providing 500 pairs of shoes to children in need. “I’ve supported Samaritan’s Feet for 10 years now because the work they do and the donations that are made directly impact children’s lives around the world. Many people don’t realize that a pair of shoes can be the difference between life and death. I’m touched that Randy has joined me on my quest to create a world with zero shoeless children and save lives.” Patrick Thean, CEO of Rhythm Systems.
