Leighmans, one of the UK’s leading providers of branded gifts and corporate incentive products, has announced that its next business goal is £1m turnover. The company makes the announcement as the country’s demand for innovative gifts and gadgets continues to grow.

The incentives and promotional gifts sector is enjoying a good time of it lately, with Leighmans reporting high demand for all sorts of products – from mugs to polo shirts, post-it notes to badges and more hi-tech items.

Leighmans was established over a decade ago and has enjoyed steady growth since then. The company is now well on the way to its next business goal of £1m annual turnover.

Customers have of late requested products like e-readers, USB memory sticks and iPad duo pens as the trend for technology-based promotional products continues to grow. Other popular products with Leighmans customers include iPhone cases, headphones and laptop speakers.

2012 has seen Leighmans ink a new and exclusive deal which sees it distribute innovative iPrint strips – the adhesive strips that let people use mobile phones and other devices even while wearing gloves.

Darren Leigh says: “In the last twelve months or so we have seen higher demand for innovative tech products from customers – and with public sector budgets remaining tighter, there is clearly a need for companies like ourselves who can help customers make the most of their budgets”.

“With that in mind we work as closely as possible with our customers to be sure that they can source the promotional products and incentive gifts that they need.”

The Leighmans customer base includes companies such as Deutsche Bank, Volkswagen, the Football Association and McDonald’s. Customers can browse up to 100,000 branded and customisable products. Leighmans reports that 50% of customers source products to give to their own customers while the other 50% buys items for internal purposes.
